A little history and background to the development of the "Premier" trike.
Wayne Eck was raised on a rural country farm in Kansas where mechanical knowledge was imperative in the operation of his families farm and his fathers entrepreneurial endeavors. In Wayne's early 20's he took a job as an auto mechanic, found a passion for aviation and in 1974 Wayne started an aerial spraying service that him and his wife operated for seventeen years. After seventeen years of "crop dusting" and a profound desire to live, Wayne decided it was time to make a career change and that change was opening a welding and fabrication shop, KCE Industries, founded on the mechanical experience of the farm and his fathers teachings as well as the experience and knowledge as an auto mechanic to include the centered focus on safety that's core to aviation.
In 2000, on a trip to Sturgis S. Dakota, Wayne found a passion for trikes and came home with a "new vision" and built his first trike. Along with that vision, Wayne and his wife Sarah found their place with other trikers and have thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship and events that are a included within the triking world. As for Wayne, his heart is focused on the general welding and fabrication business, to include the building of trikes but it is Jeff that is the driving force in the development and design of the Premier trike.
In the summer of 2005, Jeff Eck, joined the business. After excelling in college and earning a Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Science, Jeff recognized the opportunity to developer the trike business. He bases his expertise on his Aeronautical education, that he received from K-State University, and the mechanical abilities he has learned over years of working with his father.
In the years since, together Jeff and Wayne know that they have developed an amazing and exciting safe ride for both the individuals that want to purchase a customized turn key Premier Trike as well as the individuals that want the feel the pride of building their own Premier Trike. They are currently building customized turn key Premier Trikes for anyone who want one. Furthermore, They are also in the process of developing the Premier Trike Kit packages that they plan to offer in the very near future. Jeff and Wayne are focused and each day they meet their desired outcome.
